New Delhi: The first-ever Fight of Knights (FOK) enthralled Delhi NCR fans with some thrilling Mixed Martial Arts action at the Habitat Mall in Indrapuram recently. In all there were seven fights in this high octane contest which showcased the brute force and power of MMA.  There was a fair sprinkling of international talent in this fight night which was attended by a huge gathering.

It was Afghanistan’s champion Khalid who hogged the limelight when he thrashed his hapless Indian opponent Aakash Gautam. A vastly superior Khalid attacked his opponent from the word go and such was his dominance that the referee had to stop the contest early into the second round.

Another engrossing fight was the women’s bout between Sonam and Rekha. In a keenly contested affair, it was Rekha who emerged winner as she was technically the better player.

The India vs Nepal clash between Durga Das and Bhagwati also garnered a lot of interest among the spectators. It was Durga Das who prevailed eventually.

Congo’s Hazimuwami showed his superiority when he outplayed his Indian rival Rishab Patel in a one-sided contest.

Former India cricketer S. Sreesanth was the chief guest for this event, while  Devinder Singh Tomar, Yudhvir Singh and Vivek Bhatnagar represented the FOK.
