New Delhi: Adille Sumariwalla on Saturday was re-elected as Athletics Federation of India (AFI) president while former athlete Anju Bobby George was elected as the senior vice-president on Saturday.
Sumariwalla was elected as the president for the third time during AFI’s AGM.
Madhukant Pathak and Ravinder Chaudhary were elected as treasurer and general secretary of AFI respectively.
AFI had earlier postponed the 1st National Open Throws competition, scheduled to be held on October 26-27 at SAI-NIS Patiala due to Covid-19 health risks.
