Chennai Super Kings spinner Harbhajan Singh pulls out of IPL 2020

New Delhi: Veteran Chennai Super Kings (CSK) spinner Harbhajan Singh has pulled out of the 2020 IPL.

The cricketer conveyed his decision to the team management on Friday as cited ‘personal reasons’ for his decision.

He becomes the second CSK cricketer after Suresh Raina to withdraw from this year’s IPL.

The CSK team that flew from India to UAE, Harbhajan wasn’t a part of that group and was expected to fly later.

Earlier, he was also not a part of the camp that was organised in Chennai.

IPL 2020 will be held in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi from September 19 to November 10.

The eight-team tournament was originally scheduled to begin from March 29 but the coronavirus pandemic forced it’s postponement.
