New Delhi: Coronavirus has stopped all the sporting events across the world. Some preventive measures, including lockdown were taken by the Government, forcing sportspersons to go into isolation.
Let’s take a look at how these sportspersons are keeping them fit and busy:
MC Mary Kom
Six-time world champion MC Mary Kom is currently concentrating on her fitness in this unique break from her hectic schedule.
She took a skipping rope challenge and posted a video on her instagram account and wrote, “We can progress and do our fitness at home. Skipping rope challenge.”
The 37-year-old also posted a video while she was sweeping outside her house and enjoying every bit of time and listening music.
Saina Nehwal
It seems that the Indian professional badminton player is enjoying her break and is also ‘working from home’.
She posted a video of sweeping outside her house and also wrote, “Ghar ki safai bhaut muskil hai, ab samajh aya mummy kyun gussa karti hain safai k time pe.”

She is also keeping herself busy by playing ludo. She posted a screenshot on her instagram story and called herself a “Ludo Queen”.
Simranjit Kaur
National champion and two-time world medalist Simranjit Kaur is trying to keep herself fit and healthy. She also stated that this lockdown is a tough time.
The 24-year-old posted a video of doing pushups and crunches on instagram and wrote, “These are tough times but we must try to remain positive. I’m keeping my fitness game up during #lockdown I hope you are also staying healthy and keeping fit.”

Parupalli Kashyap
The Arjuna Awardee is taking care of his health and trying to keep him fit. He posted few videos of his workout.

He is also following his hobby of singing. He uploaded a video and was seen singing ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’.
Hima Das
Dhing Express aka Hima Das started drawing a scenery to pass her time. She uploaded a video in which she was painting and she also asked people to stay home during Lockdown.

The 20-year-old also donated her one month’s salary to the Assam government to help the state combat the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
Rani Rampal
Indian women’s hockey team captain Rani Rampal was seen doing workout at her home. She uploaded a video and wrote on her instagram account, “Being lockdown doesn’t mean your life is stopped or your goals are changed. It’s just a matter of time. Stay Home, Stay Fit, Stay Safe.”
Mirabai Chanu
Indian weightlifter, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna and Padma Shri awardee is following her hobby of making wall hangings and is decorating her home. She also urged people to stay home and stay safe.
Sharath Kamal
The Padma Shri and Arjuna awardee is concentrating on sharpening his game. A video uploaded on his instagram account saw him practicing table tennis at his home.

Apart from fitness the 37-year-old is spending quality time with his family by playing with them. He posted a picture in which he was cooking a bread.
One of his follower trolled him by saying, “Sharath bhaiyaa! Expected a lot more cooking than just bread from you!
