Indian athletes welcome nutrition brand Musashi’s entry into India

New Delhi: Top Indian sportspersons has welcomed the launch of leading Australian performance nutrition brand Musashi in India.

The brand will enter the market through their Indian partners Smart Brands. Started in 1987, Musashi is a reknowned name in sports nutrition.

Hockey stars Rupinder Pal Singh, PR Sreejesh, Harmanpreet Singh, Hardik, Jugraj Singh, wrestler Amit Dhankar and cricketer Rahul Sharma were present at the launch party.

“We are here to show solidarity to Musashi and Smart Brands. We have been using their products since the beginning of our career and has helped us improve our game throughout the years,” they said.

India is still a nascent market for sports nutrition and Sreejesh hoped Musashi’s entry will help reduce the void for high end, quality and informed sport tested sports nutrition.

“I am glad that Musashi has finally entered the Indian market. Their products has been my first choice and have helped me achieve many of my fitness goals,” Sreejesh said.

“The products will now be easily available in India and it makes our life easier,” Rupinder Pal Singh said.

Former India hockey coach Harendra Singh said sports nutrition is essential for development in modern age.
