New Delhi: The Indian Premier League (IPL) match between the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is postponed as a precautionary measure after some players fell ill, according to reports.
Eoin Morgan-led KKR and Virat Kohli’s RCB are scheduled to play in Match 30 of the 2021 IPL season at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on May 3. The match is currently scheduled to begin at 7.30 pm Indian Standard Time (IST).
News reports suggest that there is a COVID-19-related scare in the Knight Riders’ camp.
An official statement is awaited from the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
