Mohun Bagan sneak past NorthEast for ISL final face-off with Mumbai
Margao: ATK Mohun Bagan shook off a spirited NorthEast United FC 2-1 in the Indian Super League (ISL) semi-final second leg (3-2 on aggregate) to book a date with Mumbai City in the final on Saturday.
Sergio Lobera’s side beat FC Goa in a thrilling shootout semi-final on Monday.
ATKMB were dominant for most of the proceedings.

They took the lead through David Williams (38′) and doubled it through Manvir Singh (68′).
However, NEUFC got a lifeline when Suhair VP header in the 74th minute.
NorthEast got a golden chance in the 82nd minute when they were awarded a penalty. But Luis Machado blew his spotkick to condemn Khalid Jamil to his first loss of the season since taking charge midway.
